CORONAVIRUS / COVID19 – UPDATE 1800 Monday 16th March 2020

I trust this message finds you and your families well at this time.

As the pandemic nature of this virus begins to affect airlines and other carriers abilities to continue to operate at normal capacity, we as a business are starting to receive increases in our carriage costs reflecting the limited availability of capacity against demand.

It is therefore with regret that with effect from midnight tonight LHR Global Logistics shall have no option other than to pass on these surcharges to our clients.

This is a decision we are being forced to take, and I can advise in some cases the increases on particular routes may be as heavy as 150% from information already received, and this may well change. It is a moving target right now.

We shall continue to monitor the situation and shall update you as soon as we receive any further information.
